The Nuclear Medicine Division of MG Sanders offers an extensive range of DENSAMET® Tungsten components for shielding and containment of radioactive isotopes. DENSAMET® high density materials provide approximately 50% more protection for a given thickness than Lead.

DENSAMET® has good structural and mechanical properties and is non - toxic.

MG Sanders DENSAMET® Tungsten can be supplied ‘as sintered’, mechanically enhanced, proof machined or finished machined. Typically DENSAMET® Tungsten is used in the following Nuclear Medicine applications;
